You can add a high-end cosmetic touch to your driveway, patio or pathway by using resin. It will enhance the value of your property. Resin is also more environmentally friendly than concrete.

Eco-Friendly

Resin bound driveways and patios are 10 times greener than concrete. Our resin bound surfaces are made with natural stone and a high quality resin containing no solvents. This ensures that they are as strong as concrete, yet are less harmful to the planet.

Our resin driveways, patios, and paths are permeable, allowing water to drain away naturally. This reduces the possibility of flooding and is sustainable, eco-friendly, and natural.

Sustainable Urban Drainage Compliant

Oct 2008 saw the adoption of legislation that applied to households. It stated that any paving that exceeds 5m in front of a property must be permeable, and that any paving that is not permeable would need planning permission. This is known as Sustainable Urban Drainage, or SUDs in planning terms.

Resin bound driveways as well as patios and paths can be permeable. Our resin driveways, patios, and path installations are therefore not required for planning permission. The Environmental Agency strongly encourages them to help with surface water runoff and reduce the possibility of flooding.

Hard Wearing, Durable & Long Lasting

We use only 100% natural stone from Europe and the UK for our resin driveways, patios and paths. The full range of performance in both residential and commercial installations has been ensured by extensive testing of various aggregate mixes.

The resins that we use are made from the most up-to-date polymer technology. This allows for a more durable, long-lasting surface than any other in the industry. Our materials result in a durable, long-lasting driveway, patio, or path that is both attractive and lasts.

Low Maintenance

Resin driveways/patios/paths are strong and durable, but they are also more maintenance-friendly than traditional surfacing methods.

Resin is used as a binding agent to create a sealed surface that doesn’t crack. This eliminates the need for you to worry about weeds growing between the joints. The flexibility of the resin makes it very resistant to cracking or flaking so there’s no need to set up block paving, repoint flags or replace gravel that’s been washed away.

There are many ways to enjoy your driveway, patio, and path year after year.

UV Stable, Resistant Against Fading

ResinBound UVR Pro is our professional choice in polyurethane kits. It was specifically designed for resin bound driveways, patios, and paths. It is UV stable. Therefore, resin bound aggregates are not affected by UV light.

ResinBound UVR Pro resin has been tested to ensure its quality. It comes with a 25-year color lock guarantee from the manufacturer.

Stain Resistant

Resin driveways, patios, and paths are more resistant to staining than traditional surfacing like concrete, tarmac, and stone. The resin acts as a sealant on the natural stone, stopping any staining substances like oil from getting into the aggregates.

The porous structure of the finish surface allows residues that might be staining to non permeable surfaces, to be naturally washed away rather than being absorbed.

Weed Resistant

It is possible to make driveways, patios, and paths more resistant to weed growth by using the clever cellular structure created when resin bound surfaces are installed. The porous surface allows water to flow through the material, but not into the soil. This prevents weeds from growing and causing damage to their roots.

A resin driveway, patio, or path creates a single continuous surface. This is in addition to the flexibility that removes joints and increases the chance of cracks.

Anti Slip Properties

All resin driveways, patios and pathways we install follow manufacturer recommendations. This ensures exceptional anti-slip characteristics. Testing has shown that all surfaces meet safety requirements set forth in BS 7976-2 guidelines. A ‘Pendulum Value’ (PVT), is the test that was done to determine anti-slip characteristics. 36 PTV values are required by The Health and Safety Executive. A higher value means that the slip resistance is better.

The lowest value for any finish is 69. However, many finishes have a value of 75 or more. Can I Make My Front Garden Into a Driveway?
